Target Information
Nucleoporin Nup35 (Mitotic phosphoprotein 44)는 핵공복합체(nuclear pore complex, NPC)에 존재하는 핵 단백질로, 핵막 및 라미나와 밀접하게 결합되어 있습니다. 이 RNA 관련 단백질은 Nup53 패밀리에 속하며 MPPN (mitotic phosphoprotein N-terminal) 도메인을 가지고 있습니다. NUP35는 다른 nucleoporin과 달리 큰 FG 반복 도메인은 없지만 소수의 산발적인 phenylalanine-glycine 반복을 포함합니다. 주요 기능은 아직 완전히 밝혀지지 않았으나, NPC의 구조적 구성요소로서 역할하며 핵 수송 인자와의 상호작용에도 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 MAD1 전사 억제인자와 NPC의 결합에도 중요한 역할을 할 가능성이 있습니다. NUP35는 대부분의 조직에서 광범위하게 발현됩니다.
