Target Information
The ILVBL gene encodes a protein similar to thiamine pyrophosphate-binding proteins found in bacteria, yeast, and plants. It shows the highest similarity to bacterial acetolactate synthases (AHAS), enzymes that catalyze the first step in branched-chain amino acid biosynthesis.
