Target Information
NEIL3는 single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) 또는 부분적으로 ssDNA 구조(예: bubble, fork 구조)에 대해 선호적으로 작용하는 DNA glycosylase입니다.
In vitro에서는 spiroiminodihydantoin (Sp) 및 guanidinohydantoin (Gh) 손상에 대한 강한 glycosylase 활성을 보이며, FapyA, FapyG, 5-OHU, 5-OHC, 5-OHMH, Tg, 8-oxoA 손상도 인식합니다.
8-oxoG에 대한 활성은 없습니다. 약한 DNA-(apurinic/apyrimidinic site) lyase 활성을 보입니다.
In vivo에서는 신생 조직의 ssDNA에서 Sp 및 Gh 제거에 주요 역할을 하며, 신경 줄기세포 및 종양 세포 등 특정 세포 집단의 증식과 관련된 복제 관련 DNA 수리에 관여합니다.
