Target Information
Cerebellin (CER)는 최초로 흰쥐 소뇌에서 분리된 헥사데카펩타이드로, Cerebellin 1 (Cbln1)이라 불리는 더 큰 전구체로부터 유래합니다. Cerebellin 1, 2 (Cbln2), 3 (Cbln3), 4 (Cbln4)는 C1q 단백질 계열 내의 precerebellin 하위군을 구성합니다. 이들은 다양한 뇌 영역에서 시냅스 발달 및 시냅스 가소성의 신경 간 조절자로 작용합니다. 또한 Cerebellin 및 그 대사체 des-Ser(1)Cer는 부신 등 여러 소뇌 외 조직에서도 발현됩니다. Cerebellin 1, 2, 3은 동종 및 이종 복합체를 형성하여 서로의 분해 및 분비에 영향을 미치며, Cerebellin 3은 단독으로 분비되지 않고 Cerebellin 1과의 이종 복합체 형성 시에만 분비됩니다. Cerebellin 농도 감소는 olivopontocerebellar atrophy (OPCA) 및 Shy-Drager 증후군 환자의 뇌에서 관찰되어, 이 단백질이 해당 질환 병태생리에 관여함을 시사합니다.
