RASSF8는 Ras-association domain family (RASSF)에 속하는 종양 억제 단백질로, 상피세포의 부착연접 기능 유지와 세포 이동에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 폐 종양 억제 유전자 후보로 알려져 있으며, FBLN1 유전자와의 염색체 전위 t(12;22)(p11.2;q13.3)이 복합형 합지증(synpolydactyly)과 관련되어 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 존재하여 여러 이소폼을 생성합니다.
