Product Specific Information

The mShad150 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD150, a ~70 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein known as Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule (SLAM).
CD150 is expressed by T cells (especially Th1) and B cells, with expression rapidly upregulated upon activation. Immature thymocytes and dendritic cells also express CD150.
Signaling through SLAM induces proliferation and enhances interferon-gamma response, and may mediate adhesion between T cells and antigen-presenting cells.
mShad150 also stains CD150⁺CD244⁻CD48⁻CD41⁻ pluripotent hematopoietic stem cells.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; ≤ 0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize by titration.

Fluorochrome Information:
APC-eFluor 780 emits at 780 nm, excited by Red laser (633–647 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and samples from light (photo-induced oxidation sensitive).

Fixation Guidance:
Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

Target Information

CD150 (SLAM) is a member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily involved in T cell stimulation.
Expressed on peripheral blood memory T cells, immature thymocytes, and subsets of B cells; rapidly induced upon activation.
SLAM signaling enhances activated B cell expansion and differentiation.
The extracellular domain serves as a receptor for the measles virus and acts as a co-activator on T/B cells.
Interactions occur with SH2D1A and PTPN11 via its cytoplasmic domain.
Mutations in CD150 may be associated with X-linked lymphoproliferative disease (XLP).
