Specificity: This antibody binds to human Extra-Domain containing fibronectin (EDB-FN).
Target Information
EDB-FN is a variant of the fibronectin protein that contains an extra domain, known as the extra domain B. This extra domain is not present in the normal fibronectin protein and is expressed in certain tissues during embryonic development and in tumors. It plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, and invasion, and is associated with cancer progression and metastasis. Due to its unique expression pattern and functional properties, EDB-FN is a potential target for cancer therapy and imaging.
