Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RYBP is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains transcriptional repression of genes such as Hox genes during development.
This complex mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A (Lys-119), resulting in heritable chromatin modifications.
RYBP plays roles in:
- X chromosome inactivation in females
- Regulation of TP53 ubiquitination and transcription
- Ubiquitin-mediated degradation of proteins such as FANK1
- Transcriptional repression and apoptosis regulation
- Potential suppression of tumor growth and metastasis by down-regulating SRRM3 in breast cancer
