Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RYBP is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, through development.
This complex mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A (Lys-119), altering chromatin expressibility.
RYBP plays roles in:
- X chromosome silencing in XX females
- Regulation of TP53 target gene transcription by inhibiting TP53 degradation
- Ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of proteins such as FANK1
- Transcriptional repression of E4TF1 activity
- Tumor growth and metastasis repression in breast cancer via SRRM3 down-regulation
