Product Specific Information

Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

C5AR2 is a member of the anaphylatoxin receptor family and is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor.
It includes an N-terminal N-glycosylation site, conserved cysteines, and potential C-terminal phosphorylation sites.
C5AR2 binds to C5a and C5a-des-Arg, functioning as a regulated scavenger receptor with negative modulation of C5aR-mediated inflammation.
Northern blot analysis shows co-expression with C5aR in various tissues and cells including neutrophils/macrophages, mast cells, dendritic cells, brain, lung, heart, kidney, liver, ovary, and testis.
