Target Information
The Gb5 protein is a G protein subunit predominantly expressed in the central nervous system.
It exists in two forms: 39 kDa (brain) and 44 kDa (retina). Gb5 associates tightly with RGS7, a regulator of G protein signaling, forming complexes localized throughout most brain regions.
This antibody recognizes a peptide sequence within the D1 blade region, which is not found in Gb1–4.
