Target Information
Langerin (CD207)은 Langerhans 세포에서 특이적으로 발현되는 type II 막 관련 C-type lectin입니다. 단일 carbohydrate recognition domain (CRD)을 통해 만노스 잔기를 인식하며, 세포 표면뿐 아니라 Birbeck 과립(Birbeck granules)과 밀접하게 연관된 세포질 내에도 존재합니다. Langerin cDNA를 섬유아세포에 형질도입하면 Birbeck granule 특유의 막 구조를 형성하는 네트워크가 생성됩니다. Langerin은 막 중첩 및 결합을 유도하여 BG 형성에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
