Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
MAGEA4 is a member of the MAGEA gene family, encoding proteins with 50–80% sequence identity.
Promoters and first exons vary, enabling expression under different transcriptional controls.
MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28 and have been implicated in hereditary disorders such as dyskeratosis congenita.
