Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds specifically to programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1). This interaction negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling, leading to decreased TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in various murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, indicating its potential role in tumor immune evasion.
