Target Information
TCP-1 (t complex polypeptide 1)은 진핵세포질 내에 존재하는 이종올리고머 복합체 CCT(chaperonin containing TCP-1)의 서브유닛으로, 8가지 서로 다른 서브유닛(TCP-1 α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ, η, θ)으로 구성됩니다. 두 종류의 ζ 서브유닛(TCP-1 ζ1, TCP-1 ζ2)이 보고되었으며, 각각은 액틴과 튜불린의 접힘(folding)에 관여합니다. TCP-1은 최초로 마우스에서 배아 치명적 표현형과 관련하여 발견되었으며, 효모에서도 액틴과 튜불린의 샤페론 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. TCP-1은 진핵세포에서 세포질 단백질의 접힘에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
