Target Information
RPN2는 조면소포체(rough endoplasmic reticulum)에만 존재하는 제1형 막단백질로, N-올리고사카라이드 전이효소 복합체의 일부를 구성합니다. 이 단백질은 nascent polypeptide의 Asn-X-Ser/Thr 모티프 내 아스파라긴 잔기에 고만노스형 올리고사카라이드를 결합시키는 역할을 합니다. 또한 효모의 oligosaccharyl transferase 소단위 SWP1과 서열상 유사성을 가집니다.
