Target Information
NDRG2 gene is a member of the N-myc downregulated gene family, belonging to the alpha/beta hydrolase superfamily. The encoded protein is cytoplasmic and may play a role in neurite outgrowth. This gene may be involved in glioblastoma carcinogenesis. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described, though full-length forms of some variants remain undetermined.
