For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

LAG-3 (Lymphocyte Activation Gene 3, CD223) is a 70-kDa surface glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily, structurally homologous to CD4. It binds MHC class II with higher affinity than CD4 and plays a role in the negative regulation of T cell activation and homeostatic proliferation.
LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells (including regulatory T cells) and NK cells, with CD8+ T cells showing higher expression than CD4+ T cells. Coexpression of LAG-3 and CD49b is proposed as a marker for human and mouse Type 1 regulatory T cells (Tr1 cells).
