• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.

• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Ano5 does not exhibit calcium-activated chloride channel (CaCC) activity. The Ano5 gene encodes a member of the anoctamin family of transmembrane proteins. The Ano5 protein is likely a calcium-activated chloride channel. Mutations in the Ano5 gene have been associated with gnathodiaphyseal dysplasia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for Ano5.
