Target Information
Electron-transferring-flavoprotein dehydrogenase (ETFDH) is located in the inner mitochondrial membrane and accepts electrons from electron-transfer flavoprotein in the mitochondrial matrix, reducing ubiquinone in the mitochondrial membrane. The protein is synthesized as a 67-kDa precursor and processed into a 64-kDa mature form. Deficiency in ETFDH has been observed in some patients with type II glutaricacidemia.
