Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Chromogranin A (CHGA) is a member of the chromogranin/secretogranin family of neuroendocrine secretory proteins.
It is found in secretory vesicles of neurons and endocrine cells and serves as a precursor to biologically active peptides such as vasostatin, pancreastatin, and parastatin.
These peptides act as autocrine or paracrine negative modulators of the neuroendocrine system.
CHGA is an excellent marker for carcinoid tumors, pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas, and other neuroendocrine tumors.
Coexpression of chromogranin A and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) is common in neuroendocrine neoplasms.
