Invitrogen™ Vybrant™ DyeCycle™ Violet/SYTOX™ AADvanced™ Apoptosis Kit (for Flow Cytometry)
The Vybrant™ DyeCycle™ Violet/SYTOX™ AADvanced™ apoptosis kit is designed for the identification of apoptotic cells.
This kit provides a rapid and convenient assay based on fluorescence analysis of the compacted nuclear chromatin state in apoptotic cells.
It includes:
- Vybrant™ DyeCycle™ Violet stain (Ex/Em max ∼370/440 nm), excited with UV or violet laser
- SYTOX™ AADvanced™ stain (Ex/Em max ∼546/650 nm), excited with a 488 nm laser
SYTOX™ AADvanced™ detects changes in plasma membrane permeability, allowing identification of dead cells.
Using both dyes simultaneously enables distinction of normal, apoptotic, and dead cell populations by flow cytometry.
