Target Information
IKBKE는 nuclear factor-kappa-B(NF-κB)의 활성화 인자입니다. IKBKE의 과발현은 유방암 세포에서 관찰되며, 억제 시 세포 사멸을 유도합니다. NF-κB는 면역 및 염증 반응 활성화 시 유전자 발현의 주요 조절자로, IκB 단백질과 복합체를 이루어 세포질 내에서 비활성화된 상태로 존재합니다. IκB는 IKK 복합체(α, β, γ 서브유닛 포함)에 의해 인산화되며, IKK-iota/IKK-i로 명명된 새로운 구성 요소가 확인되었습니다. IKK epsilon은 PMA와 T 세포 수용체에 의해 NF-κB 활성화에 필요하지만 TNF-α나 IL-1에는 반응하지 않습니다. IKK-iota/IKK-i mRNA는 다양한 조직에서 발현되며 TNF-α, IL-1, LPS에 의해 유도됩니다.
