Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases with diverse physiological functions. Many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and may serve as biomarkers for cancer and other diseases.
The KLK8 gene is one of fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in tandem on chromosome 19. The encoded protein may participate in proteolytic cascades in the skin and serve as a biomarker for ovarian cancer. Multiple transcript variants exist due to alternative splicing.
