Target Information
Gephyrin은 억제성 신경전달 수용체를 시냅스 후 세포골격에 고정시키는 신경 세포 단백질로, 수용체 서브유닛 도메인과 튜불린 이합체에 높은 친화도로 결합합니다. 비신경 조직에서는 molybdenum cofactor 생합성에도 필요합니다. 이 유전자 변이는 hyperplexia 및 molybdenum cofactor 결핍과 관련될 수 있습니다. 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되었으며, 모든 전사체의 완전한 길이는 아직 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
