Product Specific Information

A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45754 was sufficient for detection of Citrulline in 2 µg of Citrulline conjugated to BSA by ECL immunoblot analysis using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.
Specific for citrulline residues on modified proteins. Tested using citrulline conjugated Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA).

Target Information

Citrulline is an amino acid not incorporated into proteins during synthesis but generated within proteins by deimination of arginine. It occurs normally in many proteins such as Myelin basic protein (MBP), while others like fibrin become citrullinated during inflammation or apoptosis.
