Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Rb is a tumor suppressor nuclear phosphoprotein capable of binding to DNA. It is phosphorylated on serine and threonine residues, but not on tyrosine. Rb forms complexes with SV40 large T antigen, adenovirus E1A, and human papilloma virus-16 E.
Loss of Rb function leads to uncontrolled cell growth, and RB gene aberrations are associated with cancers such as breast, colon, prostate, kidney, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and leukemia.
