Product Specific Information

The FR70 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD70, a 30–33 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein. CD70, a TNF family member, is expressed by activated mouse T and B lymphocytes. Interaction with CD27 is important in T–B cell crosstalk and immune regulation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on stimulated mouse splenocytes at ≤0.25 µg/test in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimal titration recommended.

Fluorochrome Information:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with a 488 nm blue laser. Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and compensation. Clone-specific performance should be determined empirically.

Target Information

The CD70 protein is a cytokine of the TNF ligand family and a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is expressed on activated T and B lymphocytes, inducing proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhancing cytolytic T cell generation, and contributing to immune activation. It also regulates B-cell activation, NK cell cytotoxicity, and immunoglobulin synthesis.
