Product Specific Information

Description:
The MIH1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human B7-H1 (PD-L1), a member of the B7 family with a molecular weight of ~40 kDa. B7-H1 is expressed on most leukocytes and serves as a ligand for PD-1, inhibiting T and B cell responses. MIH1 is a reported blocking antibody.

Applications Reported:
Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested on stimulated human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (1 µg) per test in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

PerCP-eFluor® 710 can replace PE-Cy5, PE-Cy5.5, or PerCP-Cy5.5.

• Emission: 710 nm
• Recommended filters: 685 LP dichroic mirror and 710/40 band pass (695/40 acceptable alternative)

PerCP-eFluor® 710 conjugated antibodies remain stable after exposure to 2% formaldehyde overnight at 4°C.

Target Information

PD-L1 (Programmed death receptor ligand 1, B7-H1):
A B7 family member that binds PD-1 receptor, negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement reduces TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. Highly expressed in various human and murine cancers, upregulated by IFN-γ, and implicated in tumor immune evasion.
