Talin은 세포-기질 부착 부위의 다기능 구성 요소로, 다양한 조직과 세포 유형에서 발견되는 고분자량 단백질(225–235 kDa)입니다. Talin은 필라멘트성 액틴이 존재하는 접합 복합체의 세포질 면에서 특화된 세포-세포 및 세포-기질 접합 부위에 위치합니다. 배양 세포에서는 주로 부착판(adhesion plaques)과 섬유상 구조에서 발견되며, vinculin 및 integrin과 상호작용합니다.
