Target Information
This gene encodes a polytransferase that lacks an N-terminal DNA-binding domain, which activates the C-terminal catalytic domain of poly transferase. The basic residues within the N-terminal region may have potential DNA-binding properties and may contribute to nuclear or nucleolar targeting. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
