Target Information
IRF3 (interferon regulatory factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다. DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천적 면역 반응에서 핵심적인 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha 및 IFN-beta 유전자와 IFN-stimulated genes (ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 감염되지 않은 세포의 세포질에 비활성 상태로 존재하다가 바이러스 감염, 이중가닥 RNA, 또는 toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 활성화됩니다. IKBKE와 TBK1 kinase에 의해 인산화되어 구조적 변화를 일으키며, 이로 인해 이합체화 및 핵 내 이동이 촉진되고 CREB binding protein과 결합하여 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다.
IRF3 유전자 변이는 급성 감염 유발성 뇌병증(herpes-specific 7)과 관련될 수 있습니다.
