Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human HGF is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
MSP (also known as MST1) contains four kringle domains and a serine protease domain, similar to hepatic growth factor. Despite the presence of the serine protease domain, the protein may lack proteolytic activity. The receptor for MSP is RON tyrosine kinase, which upon activation stimulates ciliary motility in epithelial lung cells. MSP is secreted and cleaved into alpha and beta chains bridged by disulfide bonds.
