This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

This antibody is specific for Human SLAMF1/CD150/SLAM.

Target Information

CD150 (SLAM, Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule) belongs to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily and is involved in T cell stimulation.
SLAM is constitutively expressed on peripheral blood memory T cells, immature thymocytes, and certain B cells, and is rapidly induced on naive T cells after activation. Activated B cells express membrane-bound, soluble, and cytoplasmic isoforms of SLAM.

Homophilic SLAM–SLAM binding during B–B and B–T cell interactions enhances activated B cell expansion and differentiation.
CD150 acts as a receptor for measles virus and functions as a co-activator on T and B cells. It interacts with SH2D1A and PTPN11 via its cytoplasmic domain.
Mutations in the CD150 gene may be associated with X-linked lymphoproliferative disease (XLP).
