Target Information
FGF19 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 19)는 인간 FGF19 유전자에 의해 발현되는 단백질로, FGF 패밀리에 속합니다. 이 유전자는 염색체 11q13.3에 위치하며, 216개의 아미노산으로 구성된 FGF19 단백질은 신호 서열과 FGF 패밀리에서 보존된 2개의 시스테인 잔기를 포함합니다. 발현은 태아 뇌 조직에서만 관찰되며, Wnt-8c와의 상호작용은 내이 발달 시작에 필수적입니다. FGF19는 간에서 단백질 및 글리코겐 합성을 자극하지만 지질 합성을 유도하지 않으며, 인슐린이나 Akt 경로와는 독립적으로 MAPK 신호전달 경로를 통해 글리코겐 합성효소 활성화를 유도합니다. 생쥐의 상동 단백질은 FGF15로 약 50%의 아미노산 서열 동일성을 가지며 유사한 기능을 수행합니다. 두 단백질은 종종 FGF15/19로 함께 언급됩니다.
