Target Information

ZEB1 (Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1)는 전사 억제 인자로 작용하며, interleukin-2 (IL-2) 유전자 발현을 억제합니다. ATP1A1 유전자의 프로모터 활성은 세포 유형 및 cDNA 양에 따라 조절됩니다. 또한 E-cadherin 프로모터를 억제하고 SMARCA4/BRG1을 모집하여 상피-간엽 전이(EMT)를 유도합니다. ZEB1은 CTBP1 코리프레서 존재하에서 BCL6 전사도 억제하며, 신경분화 과정에서 RCOR1 전사 활성화를 억제하고 신경세포 분화를 양성 조절합니다.
ZEB1 유전자의 돌연변이는 각막이상증(후방 다형성 각막이상증, Fuchs 내피각막이상증)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
