Target Information
XDH는 purine의 산화 대사에 관여하는 molybdenum-containing hydroxylase 그룹에 속합니다. 효소는 homodimer 형태이며, reversible sulfhydryl oxidation 또는 irreversible proteolytic modification에 의해 xanthine oxidase로 변환될 수 있습니다. XDH 결함은 xanthinuria를 유발하며, 성인 호흡곤란 증후군 및 인플루엔자 감염을 산소 대사체 의존적 메커니즘을 통해 악화시킬 수 있습니다.
