Target Information
cAMP는 다양한 세포 기능에 중요한 신호 분자입니다. cAMP는 cAMP 의존성 단백질 키나아제를 활성화하여 신호를 전달하며, 이 효소는 두 개의 조절 서브유닛과 두 개의 촉매 서브유닛으로 구성된 사량체 형태로 존재합니다. cAMP 결합 시, 조절 서브유닛과 촉매 서브유닛이 분리되어 신호전달이 이루어집니다.
PRKAR1A 유전자는 이러한 조절 서브유닛 중 하나를 암호화하며, 간 종양-섬유아세포 융합 세포에서 특정 간 유전자의 발현을 억제하는 역할을 합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 Carney complex(CNC)를 유발할 수 있으며, RET 원종양유전자와 융합되어 갑상선 종양 특이적 융합유전자인 PTC2를 형성하기도 합니다. 또한 비정형 핵 내 이동 서열(NLS)을 포함하고 있어 DNA 복제 과정에서 핵 내 수송 단백질로 작용할 가능성이 제시되었습니다. 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 보고되어 있습니다.
