Target Information
TRAIL (also known as Apo-2L)은 TNF ligand family의 일원으로, 다양한 종양 세포주에서 빠르게 apoptosis를 유도합니다. TRAIL receptor family의 네 번째 구성원인 TRAIL-R4는 NF-kappaB 활성화 능력은 TRAIL-R1 및 TRAIL-R2와 유사하지만 apoptosis를 유도하지 못하는 점이 다릅니다. TRAIL-R4는 광범위한 조직에서 발현되며, 인간의 TRAIL-R4 유전자는 8p22-21 염색체에 위치하고 세 개의 다른 TRAIL 수용체와 함께 클러스터를 형성합니다.
