This monoclonal Rat anti-Mouse IgM reacts specifically with the mouse IgM heavy chain and shows no cross-reactivity with mouse IgG subclasses, IgA, or light chains.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. These antibodies provide versatility across multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and optional modifications such as immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, or label conjugation.
