For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PKC family of serine/threonine kinases, including PRKCE (PKC epsilon), is activated by intracellular signal transduction pathways. In humans, at least 12 PKC isoforms have been identified, differing in structure, tissue distribution, localization, and substrate specificity.
Conventional PKC isoforms (α, βI, βII, γ) are Ca²⁺- and phospholipid-dependent. PKC family members phosphorylate diverse protein targets and participate in various signaling pathways, also acting as receptors for phorbol esters, known tumor promoters. Each PKC isoform has a distinct cellular role and expression profile.
