Target Information
APAF1 유전자는 세포질 단백질을 암호화하며, 세포 사멸(apoptosis)을 유도합니다. 이 단백질은 WD-40 도메인, caspase recruitment domain (CARD), ATPase domain (NB-ARC)을 포함합니다. Cytochrome c 및 dATP와 결합 시 oligomeric apoptosome을 형성하고, caspase 9을 활성화하여 세포 사멸 연쇄 반응을 유도합니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 isoform이 생성됩니다.
