Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody 2E2 recognizes mouse CD119, also known as IFN gamma receptor 1. CD119 heterodimerizes with IFN gamma receptor 2 (AF-1), forming the Class II cytokine receptor.
IFN gamma binds to the IFN gamma receptor 1 subunit, while signal transduction occurs via receptor 2.
The receptor is involved in host defense and is broadly expressed in B cells, NK cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, and various non-hematopoietic cells.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume).
Cell number should be empirically determined (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Recommended incubation: 60 minutes at 2–8°C for optimal staining.
Excitation: 488–561 nm
