이 단백질은 RNP1과 RNP2 모티프를 포함하는 두 세트의 ribonucleoprotein consensus sequence를 가지며, DNA 결합에 필요합니다.
DNA 복제, 유전자 전사, 세포 주기 진행, 세포사멸 등 다양한 생물학적 기능에 관여하며, α2(I) collagen promoter의 상류 요소에 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
주로 세포질에 존재하여 RNA 대사 조절에 관련될 가능성이 있습니다.
