For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10^6 cells in 100 µL.
Mouse anti-Human CD29 monoclonal antibody, clone 4B7R, recognizes the human integrin beta 1 subunit (CD29), a ~130 kDa (red) / 115 kDa (non-red) single-pass type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed by most leukocytes and mesenchymal stem cells.


Target Information

ITGB1 (Integrin Subunit Beta 1, CD29) is a 110 kDa cell surface glycoprotein widely expressed by various cell types, including all leukocytes. It forms non-covalent heterodimers with multiple alpha chains (α1–α6), defining the binding properties of β1 (VLA) integrins.
ITGB1 functions as a cell adhesion molecule and is involved in immune cell trafficking, tissue damage regulation, and inflammatory responses. Decreased ITGB1 expression is associated with multidrug resistance in tumor cells.
Two major isoforms, β1A and β1D, differ by 13 amino acids and exhibit tissue-specific distribution: β1A in most tissues, β1D in cardiac and skeletal muscle.
