For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

FBXW7 (F-Box and WD Repeat Domain Containing 7) is a member of the F-box protein family characterized by an approximately 40 amino acid F-box motif.
F-box proteins form one of the four subunits of the ubiquitin protein ligase complex SCF (SKP1–Cullin–F-box), which mediates phosphorylation-dependent ubiquitination.

F-box proteins are classified into three groups:

• Fbws: containing WD-40 domains
• Fbls: containing leucine-rich repeats
• Fbxs: containing other interaction modules or no recognizable motifs

FBXW7 (also known as FBX30) belongs to the Fbws class, containing one F-box and seven tandem WD40 repeats.
It binds directly to cyclin E, likely targeting it for ubiquitin-mediated degradation.
Mutations in this gene have been identified in ovarian and breast cancer cell lines, suggesting a potential role in tumorigenesis.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been reported.
