Target Information
B cell Lymphoma 3 (Bcl-3) is a member of the IκB subfamily of inhibitors, which are part of the NF-κB transcription factor family. A balance in NF-κB family concentrations regulates apoptosis and T-cell survival. Bcl-3 functions include cytoplasmic activation of p50 homodimers, nuclear translocation, and modulation of transcriptional machinery. Its activity depends on nuclear interacting proteins such as Tip60, Jab1, Bard1, and Pirin.
