Kindlin 2는 TLN1 및/또는 TLN2에 의해 매개되는 인테그린 활성화를 강화하는 스캐폴딩 단백질입니다. 인테그린과 인지질막 모두와 상호작용하여 세포 부착 및 확산을 촉진하며, 초점 부착(focal adhesion)의 형성에 필수적입니다. 또한 세포외기질 부착 부위와 액틴 세포골격 간의 연결에 관여하고, 액틴 조립 및 세포 형태 조절을 조정합니다. FBLIM1을 초점 부착 부위로 모집하며, TGFB1 및 인테그린 신호전달 경로, Wnt 신호전달 및 CTNNB1 매개 전사 조절에도 관여합니다.
