Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and improve sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to one primary antibody.
Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may undergo further purification or modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
