Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The ELOA gene encodes the transcriptionally active subunit of the SIII (elongin) transcription elongation factor complex, which includes regulatory subunits elongins B and C. This complex enhances RNA chain elongation by RNA polymerase II by suppressing transient pausing during transcription. Unlike the ubiquitously expressed elongin A, ELOA is specifically expressed in the testis, suggesting a role in spermatogenesis.
